Your Questions Answered

You Have Questions. We Have Answers – Part I

January was a very busy month for MonaVie, highlighted by the MonaVie 2.0 launch events.  We had the U.S. introduction of our new nutritional chemistry products in Dallas, January 13–14, and Canada, January 27–28, in Vancouver. MonaVie’s product development team enjoyed serving nearly 30,000 samples of all six new products and responding to your questions at these two mega-events. The question most frequently asked: How is the new MonaVie Mx™ juice different from our current juices? Answer: Very different!
New MonaVie Mx™ is a blend of three of our flagship juice products: MonaVie Essential®, MonaVie Active®, and MonaVie (M)Mūn®. So you get all the benefit of our antioxidant support with the addition of joint health (glucosamine) and immunity support (Wellmune®) in one delicious blend.* It’s my favorite flavor to date. And you can take your usual 2 & 2 servings of MonaVie Mx® and have the same efficacy as any of the three products taken separately. Oh, and let’s not forget the addition of 11 vegetables. At the 2.0 events, we were often asked to name those 11 veggies. Here’s the list:
Carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato, red pepper, reishi mushroom, purple sweet potato, purple corn, purple carrot, beet, rhubarb, and red cabbage.
That’s a total of 30 fruits and vegetables! Can you name the 19 fruits?
Insight: You’ll want to attend the MonaVie International Convention and Leadership Conference in St. Louis on May 17–19 for the latest MonaVie product and business developments. And stay tuned to MBI every Monday for more product features and helpful information.
*MonaVie Mx® is not recommended for children and women who are nursing or pregnant.

Curious About Your BMI?

Calculating Your BMI
Your Body Mass Index tells you if you are underweight, normal weight, or overweight.
BMI and Your Health
People with very low or very high BMIs tend to have the greatest health risks. Even so, BMI is only one factor in your overall health. For example, if your BMI falls into the normal weight category, you will still have a higher risk of health problems if you:
  • Smoke cigarettes
  • Do not participate in regular physical activity
  • Eat lots of nutrient-poor foods with added fat and sugar.
If your BMI is in the overweight category, you will have a lower overall health risk if you:
  • Get regular physical activity
  • Have blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels that are within normal limits.
