Day 6 Gold Rush - Coaching

I shared some insights on the 4 personality/behavioral types. This is so important because we are dealing with people and their personalitys everyday!!! If you can understand the type of personality you are speaking to, you will be able to "speak in their language" and  have a good experience! Interesting enough - the population is pretty much divided equally into all 4 quadrants - out of 100 people you will find 25 of each! So, if you only speak your own "language" you are not mastering peak performance with 75% of the people you chat with!!!
 
Controller-Driver - Tend to be "results orientated" and appear to be insensitive to feelings because they are rather task driven. They tend to be direct, independent, competitive, and aggressive at moving toward goals. (In a Klemmer & Assoc. seminar I attended, during this subject, when we were placed in our quadrant, I was the Leader of the Controllers - imagine that! LOL!)
 
Analyst - Make cautious decisions based on discovering facts, strive for accuracy in work, need to know exactly how things are done and require detailed explanations - tend to be low risk takers. (Don't waste your time giving them information, they will still do their own research - just point them in the right direction!)
 
Supporter-Amiable - Relationship orientated, works with people in achieving results, friendships are highest priority. Loyal, seek security, warm generous, seek approval, cautious yet dependable. (They usually base their decisions on how they feel...)
 
Promoter-Expressive - Tend to be warm, out-going, life's a party! They usually seek social approval & like to be the center of attention with plenty of recognition. (Steve & Gina Merritt are the epitome of the Promoter!)
 
You will find yourself strongly leaning toward one personality type with hints of one or two of the others - probably one will be completely foreign to you!!! Your objective to WIN in building a network with teams of people - is to master an understanding that people may have a different way of looking at life (its not right or wrong - just different). The closer you can put yourself in the middle of the quadrants and be able to relate to all four types, you will attract more people to your business!
 
 
Today:
1) If you are interested in learning more about this interesting topic of personality types - do some research online - there are lots of great books written about it!
